Moving forward, the GOF will narrow its strategic ambitions and focus solely on the existing focal areas of Ocean and Climate Change, Areas Beyond National Jurisdiction, Integrated Coastal and Ocean Management as well as one new focal area, Corporate social responsibility in ocean-based industries and the Blue Economy.
